Map prop in hand when opening settings and Map

This would be a nice QoL and Immersion inclusion where every time someone pulls up their map or is in their settings, they will have an animation that plays, opening a map in hand.

I like thism More so that if you are in the map people know, and you are not just standing there looking dumb lol

Just wanted to comment on this. Keep this in mind when on horse as well. I like the idea while on foot, but if the animation takes a bit to do, it will most likely mess up a lot of people checking routes etc. while on horse.

i like it except when if the map gets stuck to your hand and is often not able to be dropped when pulling out a knife etc, like other props

i hope this gets implemented properly in terms of animations or not at all.

It’d be even better to have it an option in /settings for those who wish to RP as someone who knows their way.

With 5k+ hours in the game i rarely look at the map anyway, but sometimes i just wanna “whisper” to my horse while i go grab a cup of water. I don’t want that to make my character not seem like they know where they are going…
add to that the fact that i have a character that still ‘hasn’t bought a map’, which btw can be purchased from any train station near you.
