NPC Pickpocketing Mechanic
Engage in discreet pickpocketing with the following steps:
Initiate Pickpocketing: Hold the “G” key when in close proximity to an NPC.
Randomized NPC Inventory: Gain access to a randomized inventory of the targeted NPC. Notably, certain areas harbor NPCs with more valuable items. For instance, those in SD Slums may carry essentials like bread and water flasks, while NPCs in the Mansion Area SD might possess high-end items such as Gold Rings, Necklaces, or Pearls.
Quick Time Event (QTE): Upon activating the inventory, engage in a Quick Time Event.
Item Identification: Click on “?” icons to reveal the nature of items. Swiftly drag and drop desired items into your inventory before time elapses.
Time Constraints: Be cautious, as time is limited and varies randomly, potentially influenced by NPC types or specific areas. If the timer runs out, it triggers an alert, prompting NPCs to either flee or become hostile.
Consequences of Failure: Failing to complete the pickpocketing within the allotted time may lead to legal consequences. Authorities will be alerted, and the NPC may respond by fleeing or turning hostile.
Pickpocketing Limits: To maintain balance, a restriction is imposed on the number of pickpocket attempts per time period, perhaps allowing only 1 or 2 attempts per hour or per reset.

I like the idea - but even more like how to described all steps and so…
Lets make it easy for those poor devs :)

Very interesting Idea and very well put together! I will look into it :D

This is a great idea. Something that could make it even more interesting, would be having something like, for example, the reload meter come up when identifying options. If you hit R at the proper area, it revelas the item, if you don’t, it removes a large chunk of time from the timer.
