Emancipate Nurses from the Doctor job tree. They deserve their own separate job tree.

Nurses are being overlooked in Ranch and are being treated as a transitional role in the process of becoming a doctor, I personally don’t like this because in my opinion it frames nurses as being lesser or in the process of becoming a doctor when in reality the two roles were extremely seperate.

It would be easy to change the job progression line to become a doctor to

Intern > Junior Dr. > Dr.

And a new job progression line for a new job role could be added:

Nurse > Sister (Charge Nurse if Male or preferred) > Matron (A name associated with women but was used, and in some cases still is used, for men in this position.)

This would be reminiscent of the doctor job progression line but also seperates nurses from doctors and puts a line between the two.

I also think it just makes the server more immersive. Super jarring to hear. “Oh yeah, I’m a nurse. I can’t wait to be a doctor!”
