Whitelist pregnancy RP.

People should apply for it at this point.

I don’t see much value in this. I do think a rework of the rules is in need, but not necessarily involve staff into this.

Just feel like pretending to be holding babies and walking around with children is not only immersion breaking but also a loophole to a rule. People can’t RP as children because you don’t want people going around shooting kids.

At the same time you cant force people not too have a non crim family life and do the proper rp for it. The admins take this rp seriously and do watch it. If someone wants to rp having kids and does it properly people should not get in their way as this is not just a cops and robbers server.

I don’t think this is about forcing people to have a non-crim family. Some of us have felt our immersion deeply impacted by being asked to interact with a /desc as if it was a real character. Given the depth of impact this has had on immersion for many people, I don’t see anything wrong with people having to get staff sign off on this. That would also allow staff to clearly communicate what is and isn’t allowed in this RP and allow for expectant parents to ask any additional questions about the RP as well.

Ihonestly don’t see it as immersion breaking, why think that, just because you have to imagine something from a desc or me, as a long time storyteller, it actually adds to the storytelling process and makes it feel like the world is more alive. You have to work with what you got and RDR2 as far as i can remember didn’t have babies I don’t remember. As annoying as some of the /desc can get, they add to a storytelling scene. I mean some servers have baby carriages you can actually push through town. WQould THAT be better?

The suggestion isn’t to remove it entirely, but to ensure it is roleplayed properly. Nor is it to find an alternative and use model children. The rules state that you cannot play a child. Adding a child to your side by /desc is just a poor attempt to circumvent that rule that states there are no exceptions. It should be faced with a warning and then punishment appropriate to willful ignorance of 14.1 Child Character Restrictions.
